After lunch, the owner is still livestreaming, but the cat in the back couldn't hold out any longer and has fallen asleep. 😂

A special tribute to the Queen of Country, @DollyParton.
From her many friends, fans and admirers across the pond.
Some people spent so much of their lives trying to survive that they never got the chance to learn how to swim, speak a foreign language, play an instrument, travel, or simply explore life beyond work and responsibilities. That’s a side of poverty we rarely talk about.

If rumours are to be believed I'll be living with a seventh different Prime Minister shortly. If it carries on like this I'm going to stop making the effort to learn their names.

At the end of the day, with all due respect, I mean, literally, basically, just to reiterate, for what it’s worth, not gonna lie, if I’m being honest, it is what it is, and, quite frankly, in this day and age, that’s kind of where we’re at.

I’ve been trying to get my 85-year-old mum signed on her GP’s app on her old phone for the last two hours with no luck.
Keeps demanding two factor authentication apps which my mum won’t understand or to create a digital ID or passcode. This is digital exclusion.

A subtle one most people don’t recognize until after they’ve lived it:
They stop sharing their inner world.
Not just schedules or whereabouts but thoughts, worries, random stories, future ideas.
You realize later that intimacy didn’t disappear suddenly; it quietly relocated.
Other not-so-obvious signs people only understand in hindsight:
•Emotional reactions feel… muted.
They’re not angry or affectionate just oddly neutral. Like they’re already emotionally settled somewhere else.
•They become unusually “private,” not secretive.
Nothing dramatic just fewer details, fewer explanations, fewer invitations into their life.
•Arguments lose intensity.
They don’t fight to be understood anymore because the relationship is no longer where their emotional energy lives.
•You feel lonelier with them than without them.
That gut-level loneliness is often the first real signal.
•They suddenly frame you as “too much” or “too sensitive.”
Not because you changed but because guilt needs justification.
The hardest part?
None of these scream cheating in the moment.
They just feel like distance… until later, when everything clicks.
