A lot of Western influencers seem to hate the idea that @MobileLegendsOL won Mobile Esports Title of the Year. While I do understand it's easy to point out that skins give minimal stat boosts and call it "completely pay to win", judging it solely by that standard alone is nuts.

Ranked play don't affect the esports landscape at all since everyone has the same stats anyway. The community don't give af about the stats, and legit just enjoys the game with their family and friends. These Westerners should just learn how to get out of their high horses.

What makes an esports title is an enjoyable competitive game that can be a spectacle. The people enjoy MLBB, the game itself is competitive, and people love watching it. The statistics don't lie, yet the hate still follows. You can enjoy your title without shitting on others.
