πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡² Nine people were killed when a Learjet 60 crashed in Palm Beach County, Florida, on Sunday. The aircraft was flying from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas when its crew reported icing, turbulence and precipitation before entering a catastrophic descent. Air traffic control recordings captured the crew declaring an emergency as the jet descended at 20,000 feet per minute. Flight-tracking data subsequently showed an even higher descent rate. The NTSB has launched an investigation. The cause remains undetermined.
