Just dropped some peaceful snippets from my Chakrata trip 🏔️✨
After months of non-stop coding and building bhookal.com, this digital detox in the Himalayas was exactly what I needed.
Fresh air, zero notifications, and views that reset my brain better than any productivity hack.
Feeling recharged and ready to ship again 💻
Sharing a few moments from the hills 👇

PhonePe interview question that sounds simple but isn’t:
“How does UPI move money between two banks… in seconds… 24×7… without actually moving money instantly?”
Sounds impossible
But you use it daily on apps like Google Pay and PhonePe
Let’s break it down 🧵

AI didn’t just disrupt a company… it erased a business model.
Chegg Inc stock collapsed because its core product got replaced overnight.
Students used to pay for homework help.
Now they just ask AI for free.
📉 Subscribers falling
📉 Revenue crashing
📉 Traffic killed by Google AI answers
This isn’t a bad quarter.
This is a structural extinction event.
From $100 → ~$1.
Chegg might go down as the first major AI casualty in public markets.
Lesson:
If your business = selling information…
AI is your biggest risk.

Bhookal.com is already in motion.
I am building something that doesn’t just work, it feels right.
Clean UI. Smooth, intentional animations.
Every detail designed to be fast, intuitive, and a little addictive.
Still early. Still refining. But the direction is clear.
This isn’t just another app. It’s Bhookal. 🚀

Hey guys,
Done with Cortex (a Windows TUI App for code development 🪟🪟)
I just released the very first version v0.0.1 finally on github 🥳🥳.
This started as a simple TUI to chat with GPT from the terminal… but it kept growing into a full desktop app.
Now you get one clean window with three powerful AI coding assistants: Claude, Gemini CLI, and OpenAI Codex.
No login needed 😃 it uses the CLI tools directly. Run multiple chats at once, each with its own model.

Dear #Claude,
Small request for the next update 🙏
Could you please add a “Remove Ants From Inside Laptop Screen” feature?
In 1983, senior engineers were mad.
Because “real programmers” were using structure.
There’s an old essay called “Real Programmers Don’t Use PASCAL.”
It mocked devs who wanted readable code, type safety, and guardrails.
Apparently real programmers:
> Patched binary by hand
> Debugged with hex dumps
> Worked 50-hour stretches
> Called everyone else “Quiche Eaters”
Now read this:
“Real developers don’t use AI.”
“If you need Copilot, you can’t code.”
“Prompting isn’t engineering.”
Same gatekeeping. Different tools.
Assembly → “High-level languages are cheating.”
FORTRAN → “PASCAL is for weaklings.”
Now → “AI is for fake engineers.”
But here’s what actually happened:
> We adopted better tools.
> We shipped faster.
> We built bigger things.
> IDEs didn’t kill skill.
> Git didn’t kill engineering.
> AI won’t either.
Every generation thinks the next has it easy.
The ones who win?
They use the new tools first.
Don't be a gatekeeper, Be a Builder.
