💯 agree!!
Mr. Vice-President,
Please allow me to present a different perspective.
The problem was not the Iran War. It was the cease fire.
If you start a war, you need to win it and finish it – otherwise don’t start it.
This war should have been over six months ago, with the Strait of Hormuz wide open and oil flowing. The second and third tiers of Iranian leadership should have been destroyed, and we should have supported the pro-western forces who could have taken leadership. We stood on the brink of a new, more peaceful Middle East - and then we blinked. We had a chance not only to deny Iran nuclear weapons, but to get rid of the world’s biggest supporter of terrorism.
Instead, we had a cease fire, which was followed by months of will we or won’t we finish the job. Every day was a different message. There still is. Is the war over? Is it about to begin? No one knows. There is confusion and inconsistency.
In June 2025, America was not involved. This was an Israel vs Iran issue.
No one forced the United States to attack Iran then, or in February of 2026. It was a decision made by President Trump. In my opinion, it was the right decision.
Once the decision was made, we should not have stopped until the regime fell. But instead, you negotiated a cease fire that didn’t last, didn’t work and left us in no man’s land, with higher prices and our troops still deployed.
Our troops could have been home, the Navy returned to its bases, a peaceful regime in place , new alliances forged, and gas prices below $3.00 a gallon.
No, Mr. Vice President. It’s not the war. It’s the so-called cease fire.

These people literally can’t win an election without immediately driving the truck into the ditch on this stuff

Since I started working in politics in 2008, control of Congress has flipped eight times: four in the House, four in the Senate. The White House has flipped four times, too. We call every election a mandate, but are voters just choosing the party they’re least angry with?
39 years ago today I lost my dad. He had a heart attack and died on the golf course doing something he loved. He was a good man even though we had our differences. But we got closer after my mom died. He was a WW II veteran and served with the Big Red One, the First Division.

This is the truth. I’m glad we slayed gender ideology and protected women’s sports in Florida years ago, but just banging that drum every two years is not going to cut it with so many other issues that need to be addressed.
Gov. Ron DeSantis says he knew Republicans were in trouble when he saw them spending hundreds of millions on transgender ads.
DeSantis went to war with Disney over gender ideology in 2022. Even he says Republicans were "fighting in yesterday's battle."
DESANTIS: "I knew Republicans were in trouble when I was reading an overview about what they were running ads on. And they're spending hundreds of millions of dollars across the country on on transgender ads."
"Look, I fought Disney on gender ideology… But that was not the issue motivating voters."
"It was kind of like an attempt to just scare Republicans to vote."
"Republicans… they really were fighting in yesterday's battle."…
Last month, Pew asked Republican voters which issues mattered most.
Their top 5: the economy, immigration, the future of democracy, violent crime, and the size of government.
Transgender issues ranked 15th out of 16.
Anyone but Jim Jordan. I do like Brandon Gill, he’s a winner.
🚨 BREAKING: JIM JORDAN IS RUNNING FOR HOUSE MINORITY LEADER, BUT REAL CONSERVATIVES WANT BRANDON GILL!
Jordan will announce this morning, according to Punchbowl News. He is the first Republican in the race.
His pitch is that leadership needs new blood and that investigations are his specialty.
That is the same Jim Jordan who went to the House floor three times in 2023 and never got to 218 votes.
He has chaired the House Judiciary Committee the whole time, and the activist judges are still running wild.
Impeachment resolutions against judges like James Boasberg have been filed, and not one has gotten a floor vote.
So the man running on investigations has two years of hearings and no results.
Conservatives online are already answering with a different name.
Brandon Gill is 32, the youngest Republican in the House and a Freedom Caucus member.
He just won reelection in Texas, put $1.1 million into the NRCC this cycle, and raised nearly $4.7 million in the third quarter.
Gill is also the one who filed articles of impeachment against Boasberg back in March 2025.
Republicans vote November 10, and candidates must declare by November 6.
Jordan has been in Congress since 2007, nearly 20 years, and the party just lost the House.
Gill is 32 and just got there. Let the new guys lead!

The #Eagles are making a QB change: It’ll be Joe Milton III for Sunday’s game against the #Giants, sources tell @AdamSchefter and me.
Less than a month after signing in Philly, Milton takes over for Tanner McKee.

I'm sure our @LeaderJohnThune doesn't want to hear this - but it does really turn out that ignoring your own Base for 2 yrs is NOT a winning strategy.

This is @LeaderJohnThune today. This was the plan all along and the weak GOP who refused to remove him are also to blame!
