Chelsea, Villa, Brentford, Newcastle all in our next four games. For all the talk about the previous manager having us in a relegation battle in 24/25; we actually might be in one after the aforementioned fixtures.
Michael Carrick will be given more time to turn Manchester United's fortunes around after a meeting of the club's hierarchy on Monday.
Carrick's position as head coach appeared under serious threat following Sunday's 3-0 defeat at home to Bournemouth, a result which left United 16th and without a win in their last eight matches in all competitions.
However, following talks on Monday between the club's senior leadership figures, including co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, CEO Omar Berrada and director of football Jason Wilcox, the decision has been made to give Carrick and the players more time.

I get abuse on here whenever I remind people that Manchester United should seriously move on Sir Alex.
This is an excellent reminder of how big a factor Ferguson's greed was in destroying Manchester United.

He took a shot at everyone. Manager, board and the fans; especially with the “United isn’t the same team as its past” comment. Yet you’re on fixating on what he said about Carrick’s tactics cos he has to be protected at all costs. It’s exhausting.
Fun fact: No Arsenal player has ever won the men's Ballon d'Or while playing for the club. They have never signed a player who has won the Ballon d'Or either before, during, or after their time with the club.

This is not Amorim revisionism btw.
People need to actually understanding how building success works.
There is an accumulation period where you get zero results.
Because you are building foundations.
The foundations to:
1. Sustain pressure in the future
2. Produce results and not get complacent
3. Discipline to actually produce those results
4. Turn a bad run of games without destroying the squad.
Anyone who has succeeded at anything major in their lives knows this.
You go through a period of pain and iteration.
The issue is we have too many swipers.
The moment they don't get what they want, they SWIPE.
This is why everything is shit today.
Music, movies, relationships.
Everything.
People have zero patience.
They want to be a millionaire now, today without putting the work.
They want results without foundations.
Emotional junkies.
Hitler could only have dreamed of a propaganda machine this good.
Joel Glazer was once so hands-on as owner and co-chairman that he would speak to executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward “several times a day” about the day-to-day business at Old Trafford.
One ESPN source said Joel was so involved in the club’s daily operations that he even had the final say on expenses as trivial as paint orders for the Old Trafford maintenance team.
Joel also vetoed plans to furlough United staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, insisting that employees remain on full pay despite the cost to the club [@MarkOgden_]
Need the cash injection to pay Carrick’s termination fee.
