It's common knowledge that sacking Carrick after the Bournemouth match was unlikely, because that would mean INEOS admitting they are complete failures, inside and out.
They’ll allow him at least the next 3 matches to see if he can turn things around, which I doubt will happen with this bunch of mid players, then eventually they might have to part ways by mutual agreement.
So you shouldn’t be surprised, because we all saw how Amorim remained at this club when he should have been sacked immediately after the Europa final loss.

You see, this is possible and can happen to anyone. However, it’s very disrespectful to confidently ask questions about things you clearly know nothing about.
There are people in this space who do this regularly, pushing ridiculous agendas and propaganda to fit their narratives. The moment you correct them or call them out, they play the hate card.
As a journalist, you should be far more thorough with your research. Having the privilege of attending a prestigious ceremony like this makes it even more disappointing. With that kind of platform comes a responsibility to be informed, prepared and professional. He's lucky it wasn't Balotelli he questioned 😭😭😭
🚨🗣️ 𝗡𝗘𝗪: OUCH! An awkward moment took place when a journalist at the Ballon d’Or ceremony asked Michael Owen what his highest-ever finish in the award's rankings was!
What was your best ranking in the Ballon d’Or when you were active?
🗣️ Michael Owen: “Well, I won it in 2001.”
You did.... right?
The journalist seemingly FORGOT that Owen was actually a Ballon d’Or WINNER!

Only seven Ballon d’Or wins have come from players playing in the Premier League, compared to 24 in La Liga, 18 in Serie A and nine in the Bundesliga.
That tells you one of two things: either the Premier League is so competitive that it makes individual dominance difficult, or the league is overrated, with average players making each other look better than they are. Which is it?

The shin kicker didn't believe his eyes😹😹😹
That moment he realised why he plays in the holding position 😭😭😭😭
