This was for Blizzard, btw. I was burned out while doing this art test about 7-8 years ago now. I still think I demonstrated a super wide range of skills here, from shaders to Houdini and "decent" presentation. I approached the recruiters at BlizzCon, and they were super impressed with my reel. They pretty much said they had a position for me on the spot and we shook hands. After a few email exchanges, they asked if I could do a test. I absolutely hate doing tests, but since Blizz was my dream company, I did one in a few days and blasted through it. I was 100% sure I would get the position. I did not :D I'm happy I didn't, because as the saying goes, when one door closes, a new one opens. And I'm happy with the outcome it eventually had.

Fun little experiment trying to imagine an SD version of the owlbear model. It's a interesting challenge to figure out what you can do with only a 256x256 texture and limited polygons
