The ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia took effect at 4:00am Moscow time on October 27, 2026.
Timing was accelerated two days ahead of schedule to protect the safety of civilians and to facilitate the delivery of critical humanitarian aid. The ceasefire’s geographic area has expanded beyond Oleshky, within the Kherson Region, to provide safe passage for the humanitarian convoys.

Muy buenos días, hoy escribo sobre una lección fundamental que nos dejó Brasil.
Durante décadas, el proyecto neoliberal y financierista profundizó el prejuicio y desconfianza hacia la política, provocando un fuerte desmantelamiento de las estructuras colectivas y un importante repliegue de lo político frente a lo económico.
La política tiene esa capacidad de cambiar el rumbo de los acontecimientos gracias al poder de la acción colectiva. Con todas las probabilidades en contra, lo que vimos en Brasil nos recuerda lo que sabiamente apuntó Arendt: que la probabilidad no es destino.
