Today in Jovi History
41 years ago today, April 20, 1985, Bon Jovi released Only Lonely as the first single to promote their second album, 7800 Fahrenheit
This would release in the US and Japan on this day and would release in other countries in later April & May
Games we play, words we say
Cutting wounds that run so deep
Leave it all behind you
Cause someday love will find you

Always Jovi put on an absolutely incredible show last night-a tribute band like no other
If you want the next best thing to Bon Jovi, it’s Always Jovi
I could praise the entire show, but here are my two highlights-Always & Edge of a Broken Heart
That’s right, they performed those songs! And also a few other deep tracks-Shot Through the Heart, In & Out of Love, Only Lonely, I’d Die For You, & Wild in the Streets
Seeing one of my favorite musicians, Steve Brown, sing Bon Jovi songs while paying so much respect to them-that was the absolute best part
The entire lineup of musicians were absolutely incredible and truly have an incredible show
Will post lots more photos/videos on my IG

Brilliant to have a readers run through a quarter of a century of Scottish novels & all the others that could have been Dan’s choice for that year. Scotland - rich in writers! Great to be in the company of Ali Smith @valmcdermid @louisewelsh00 @Writerer James Kelman …👏🏿 – at Manchester, England
