I can't defend him anymore, he earns £301,000 per week yet I can't think of anything he offers, he's useless in possession and even more useless out of possession. It genuinely feels like we’re playing with 10 men whenever he's on the pitch. Hugo Viana should just deal him the same way he did to Tijani Reindjers by shipping him to Saudi after this season.

Kante has every right to sit on table 1 as one of the best midfielders of all time, but people like others’ playstyles more so you don’t hear his name come up in that convo as much as it should. You could make a genuine argument that Kante is the most needlemoving midfielder ever
