“AI is going to take your job!”
I FUCKING HOPE SO.
Take my job. Take your job. Take everyone’s job.
Automate the entire economy.
Make intelligence practically free. Make labor practically free. Drive the cost of everything down.
Why are we treating the elimination of human labor as some kind of tragedy?
For thousands of years, humanity has dreamed of a world where machines do the work and people enjoy their lives.
Now that we’re getting close, everyone’s having a mental breakdown.
I don’t want a better job.
I want a world where nobody needs one.
Exactly this.
"Slop" is work that is low effort and low intent. I'm pro-AI, and anti-slop.
By low intent I mean the ratio of creative decisions being made by you vs by the AI. If the scale tips too far towards the AI, it's not your vision anymore.
But there is so much nuance to using these tools in 2026. You can get very involved, give detailed notes and feedback, make minor changes, and iterate just like you would giving feedback to a human collaborator.
This makes you a director, and an artist.
liberals are self projecting shits.
huge progress lol nitter.gq/vasamonte/status/20980…

Everyone: "Vibe coding is causing all these security bugs"
Reality: PHP, Node, Linux kernel, GitLab. All hand-written code by humans, some of it 20 years old.
AI isn't creating the slop. It's finding it 🫠

AI in video games are a confusing topic to me.
@TimSweeneyEpic recently got a lot of flak for pushing AI in game development.
There are opinion pieces left and right condemning AI use in game development.
Here I am, having worked for ~6 months on a game I released on Steam last week. And my sin, apparently, was using AI and disclosing it.
The comment section was pretty clear on that.
It's confusing to me. AI is a tool. IDE is a tool. A programming language is a tool. A graphics API is a tool. We're just using tools.
I've been writing software for about 3 decades now, I'd like to think that I know what I'm doing and am pretty good at it. I see AI as an incredible productivity booster.
It does some things that I pride myself on being good at, such as teasing out a math formula or optimizing an algorithm better than me most of the time (with a lot of handholding, granted), but for the most part it makes things I find tedious - fast.
As I software engineer, and a game maker, I take relatively little pride in knowing a programming language, or remembering 100 shortcuts in an IDE, or knowing a programming language spec by heart.
I remember the first time I needed to make an animated 3d model, almost 15 years ago now, and it took me about a week of full-time effort to get anywhere. I didn't feel particularly proud, I felt frustrated, I had a clear idea, but the tool and its complexity were getting in the way. Well, the tools are better now. Blender is better, animation tools are better, and there are AI models that keep improving at an incredible pace.
Ultimately, when I write a piece of software, or work on a game - I rarely think about the tools, they are a means to an end, not the point in itself.
waiting for someone to reverse engineer both and merge the gameplay

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This is not Silent Hill gameplay, it’s the Dino Crisis franchise. There are no dinosaurs in SH

LMAO. nailed it.
OK FINE!! YOU HATERS WIN!! 🙄😂
I’ll stop using AI to create my artwork.
BUT… I have a few very reasonable conditions. 😁
First, I need an actual human artist who will be available to me 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at my beck and call.
This artist must be capable of reaching directly into my imagination and recreating EXACTLY what I’m picturing in my head, regardless of how bizarre, elaborate, physically impossible, or utterly nonsensical my vision might be. 🤔
If the finished artwork differs from my mental image by even the slightest detail, I expect an immediate revision. Or twelve. Or forty-seven. Whatever it takes.
Naturally, all revisions must be completed promptly, cheerfully, and without the slightest hint of frustration. In fact, I expect this artist to enthusiastically thank me for the privilege of correcting their mistakes while showering me with compliments about my extraordinary creative vision. 🥰🙌
And finally, because I’m a reasonable man who believes artists deserve to be compensated for their hard work, I’m prepared to pay a VERY generous $0.12 per completed piece of artwork. 😎
That’s right. TWELVE WHOLE CENTS!!
Unlimited revisions included, of course. I’m not made of money. 🙄
So… who’s ready to become my personal, human-powered, imagination-to-art conversion machine? 😁🙌
Serious inquiries only, please.
DM me so we can begin our first project together.
And PLEASE, no AI-generated applications. I have standards. 🤣🤣
"boosting my engagement" but locked the replies.
these people.
Replying to @nathanromero_xp
@grok make sure to thank all the commenters for boosting my engagement. All of the money earned from this post will go to paying real artists and engineers ❤️
Also please make sure to distribute deodorant. I think some of them need it quite badly.
after this FFT project, i will try something silly with tank control games like resident evil 2 / parasite eve 2. those static background images have some magic in it. the plan is to generate the world itself, and put puzzles / enemies like dungeons. yes, generated images.

Mobile view ready! Kinda tricky to be honest, think we can do better.

Respect for his contribution but this guy is clearly blinded by ideology. Poor guy.
Which reminds me - he blocked me because I'm pro NFT and he isn't, many years ago.
Everyone can just literally make games now because of AI. Think of Roblox: the difference now is we’re no longer locked into a single centralized ecosystem.
What’s still missing is a Robux-style currency and economy that works across games. @solana has a real shot at becoming that layer.
TL;DR: Don't sleep on Solana.
