Has the the human race not invented secure, portable, quickly constructed housing?
🚨HORRIBLE: Around 70,000 displacement tents across Gaza have been flooded, leaving thousands of families exposed to the harsh elements.
Floodwaters have also damaged shops, cafés, streets, and already-damaged buildings sheltering displaced families, compounding the suffering caused by Israel’s genocidal war.

Israel does control entry of all materials into Gaza, however, and is the reason why more than a million people are living in tents on the lowest-lying fraction of Gaza's land, with zero homes rebuilt, a year into the "ceasefire".

The IDF’s top commander in the West Bank coordinated directly with a group of notoriously violent Israelis to help them steal homes in a Palestinian city.

John Crossman AKA Mordechai Vanunu, the one anti-Zionist (ex-)Jew who actually made a real sacrifice. He's still imprisoned by the entity, barred from leaving the genocidal colony. I rarely ever hear self-proclaimed Anti-Zionist Jews™ mention him.

Do you remember this paramedic? He went out to save lives, but was killed alongside two of his colleagues in an Israeli airstrike while evacuating civilians in Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza

Hang on a minute, we've previously been told that British troops were going to be "peacekeepers."
Now it turns out that their mission is to "rebuild the Ukrainian army."
This is a recipe for being participants in a war, not for preventing it from resuming after a peace deal.
Genuine peacekeepers are neutral.
PS And why does the Ukrainian army need rebuilding when, we're told, it's winning and could eventually defeat Russia completely.
Hundreds of British troops deploy to Poland in first test of UK-led task force designed to rebuild Ukrainian army amid warning Russia may seek to 'oppose' effort trib.al/RK5vA4c

Jared Kushner is set to go to Abu Dhabi next week to negotiate for the Trump administration.
Unless and until he gets confirmed by the Senate, that's illegal under the Appointments Clause of the Constitution. We sued to enforce the law. axios.com/2026/11/03/us-russ…

This'll be why there's never any state ceremony around Remembrance Sunday. Never a big memorial service involving every living PM etc, and definitely no rolling coverage of said non-existent ceremony from the national broadcaster.
Imagine being this fucking stupid.

It is not a coincidence that widespread attempts to censor young people's access to the internet only began after our government supported a livestreamed genocide and I don't know why anyone should be expected to pretend it is.

Depraved! Israelis are celebrating that Gazans are drowning & freezing to death in flimsy tents after Israel wiped out the entire Strip & continues to ban any reconstruction (or even temporary shelters).

To whom it may concern: It is with great sadness that I inform you that the first child has died from the extreme cold inside a tent in Gaza. The tent offered no protection against the freezing temperatures, and the lack of heating was enough to end his life.

Replying to @Ed_Miliband
@Ed_Miliband and @andyburnham WHAT are you doing about Gazans starving and weeping in the rain? Your silence is a crime against humanity.

Yes, Russell Brand briefly convinced a few Guardian columnists that a man shouting undergraduate philosophy through a Victorian chimney sweep's beard constituted a political awakening.
Some of us thought he was a colossal bellend.
I didn't vote for him. I didn't join his movement. I didn't appoint him Supreme Commissar of the People's Republic of Leftism.
I thought he was an insufferable, pseudointellectual gobshite who mistook talking very quickly for thinking very deeply.
And what exactly is your argument here?
That because Ed Miliband interviewed him, the entire British left was knowingly harbouring a sexual predator?
That's a fucking extraordinary leap.
You've gone from New Statesman guest editor to collective complicity in sexual violence without so much as stopping for a biscuit.
If you've got evidence people knew about his offending and protected him, present it.
Otherwise, stop treating the British left like some sort of criminal syndicate whose members must collectively answer for every celebrity wanker who once quoted Chomsky.
Launch Brand into the fucking sun.
Throw the booky wook at him.
Just don't expect the rest of us to climb aboard because you found a photograph of him standing next to Ed Miliband.

I admit that I completely broke down today. I cried uncontrollably. I couldn’t hold myself together after witnessing what I saw with my own eyes.
Today, we went to film a journalistic report inside the displacement tents along the seashore. I swear, what we witnessed was beyond what any human being should have to endure.
I saw men crying bitterly. Men I had never seen cry when they lost their children or when their homes were destroyed. Today, I saw them crying because they were powerless to do the simplest thing: protect their children from the water and the cold.
We spoke to families who told us they had spent the entire night carrying their children in their arms after floodwater covered the floors of their tents and soaked their mattresses. They couldn’t find a single dry place to put their children. They couldn’t even give them a few hours of sleep.
I saw children no older than five, without proper clothes to protect them from the cold, without heating, and without a dry place to sleep. Children shivering inside tents that cannot keep out the rain, protect them from the wind, or provide even the most basic sense of safety.
What more must happen for this world to act? How much more suffering must people endure before someone remembers that they are human beings?
I am sick of this world. I am sick of its hypocrisy and empty slogans. To hell with a world that talks endlessly about human rights while leaving children to drown inside their tents. To hell with everyone who has witnessed this suffering and chosen silence, and to hell with the governments and institutions that have the power to act but continue to turn their backs on us.
