my school regularly had members of our first nations community share their knowledge and experiences to my class starting in elementary school, including firsthand accounts of residential school. more can always be done but why are *you* telling *us* how we were taught?

fr this is the type of thing that is so easy to do but makes people feel appreciated. same w stuff like remembering/asking about small plans people mention, telling a friend when you see something that made you think of them, etc.!
last time i asked my dad this he handed me the dishwasher manual and told me to turn to the pages about recommended loading methods. i think he’s the only person in the world who even knew that those pages existed 😭
marathon training rn is like. do i go for a run today or take a rest day bc ive been running a lot and tmr is 31km. but if i take a rest day ill fall behind on my schedule for the week. but what if i dont take a rest day and then i get injured. also why am i running a marathon!!
