drove into SJ early today for work and stopped by my favorite Bahn Mi place in little Saigon - saw everyone getting a pastry there so I decided to try one: Bahn Pate So - it was delicious! 🤤
there's always something new each time I go to Burning Man, especially after taking an 8 year break (last burn was 2016) - new to me, this year:
1. eBikes (not sold on 'em)
2. more female DJs
3. sound system/art car 'tie ups' where they connect multiple systems for a single event

trying to figure out music solutions for Burning Man (used to just bring a ton of CDs 20+ yrs ago), and just fired up my 19+ yr old iPod which appears to be up to the job of serving tunes in the heat for a week in the desert
my cats are siblings/litter mates, but the most awesome part is when the girl breaks after her brother's been at the vet for an extended period of time - we get multiple days of hissing and growling until she 'remembers' her brother - good times
I was working at the college radio station when we got this as a promo, put it on and never turned back...
