Happy 6th anniversary to the Western release of Sakura Wars (Shin Sakura Wars?)! Being a part of its release is one of my crowning achievements.

Utterly repulsive. @Vote4ABC councillors should be ashamed of yourselves. Thank you for choosing to ignore the thousands of voices who spoke in good faith opposition to this paltry excuse for a budget.
#vancouver deserves so much better than these 7 feckless ideologues.

ABC has just rammed through the worst budget in Vancouver history.
Here’s the amendments introduced by @seanorr that ABC voted down:

JUST IN: Ken Sim & ABC have voted through a Budget that makes deep cuts.
“This budget gives a massive benefit to the super-rich and investors, and it’s going to make the rest of us pay for it in the form of huge fee hikes, rising prices, and cuts to city services." - @SeanOrr

VPD was aware of the intense public interest – and also of the “fear and anxiety” news of stranger assaults was causing in 2022. VPD issued at least 52 releases mentioning stranger assaults, but provided no updated data about the frequency of these crimes. ctvnews.ca/vancouver/article…

Hey @sarahkirby_yung @MikeKlassen Thanks for paying lip-service to the importance of the arts yesterday while passing the buck and remaining completely inert. You and the mayor and ABC are ghouls and I can't wait to see you removed from office. You all make me sick.
@MikeKlassen I'm embarrassed by your condescending tone throughout the proceedings. "Funding has remained stable" Has funding for the cops remained stable? Or are the city's pockets magically deep enough for you and the mayor's rich friends? You're a snake.

Imagine if Vancouver fully supported the arts.
This afternoon - before ABC amended the motion almost beyond recognition - @SeanOrr spoke passionately in support of a great motion from Councillor Pete Fry based on proposals from the City's Arts & Culture Advisory Committee.

Ken Sim promised us a better city, but all we got was Chip Wilson Day.
Sean Orr will fight back against the billionaires and the bullies.
On April 5th let’s take back democracy and elect @SeanOrr to City Council.
