off-peak charging in NJ is around 11 cents per kwh. Driving an EV with off-peak home charging is 90% cheaper than gas - and that’s before you account for oil changes, coolant flushes, timing belts, radiator thermostats, spark plugs, throttle body cleaning, etc.
