But today, our identities, governance systems, economic activities and shared records remain scattered across institutions that don't always communicate. Society Protocol is exploring a different model through Synchronized States: a framework designed to bring identity, governance, value and shared history into a programmable coordination system. The vision is worth examining, but so are the difficult questions: Who controls the system? How is privacy protected? And how do we prevent new forms of concentrated power? Building better technology is one challenge. Building something people can trust is another. Perhaps the next evolution of society begins with rethinking how we coordinate.
