Excellent research on SIM swap risks. Problem is many services don’t offer alternative to SMS 2FA and authenticator apps also have serious vulnerabilities. A must read!
"SIM swap" attacks have been in the news for years. They’ve enabled serious financial crimes and even a hack of the Twitter CEO's account. We spent 6 months researching how vulnerable wireless accounts are to these attacks. Our draft study is out today. issms2fasecure.com/

Why recent breach of 1.2 billion people makes single sign-on vulnerable (the alternative used for passwords) and why using multiple factors for authentication is a must (our view is 3 factors is the only way to be secure) #timefor3FA #2FA

Good brief explanation why passwords can easily be broken.
Sad situation: person used Google Authenticator and a password manager to protect their #crypto account but hackers got around it. Time to use 3FA since 2FA has too many holes. No downside adding the extra security as a precaution....

Security experts post on 2FA vulnerabilities. They argue to rely on math to secure your accounts and that's what VoiceProtect does: overlaying voice biometrics on top of 2FA as a third factor #3FA blog.securityevaluators.com/…
This happens often and why businesses rely on SMS as a backup. The system is broken but voiceprotect.me offers an elegant way to address the vulnerabilities and annoyances. Try it for 1 month: SECURE3FA01
Lost my 2FA backup codes AND the authenticator app. @github told me I cannot recover my account despite I've configured both my personal and work emails. My commits have the work email. That's not enough to prove I am who I say I am! Fun times!
Let's make the Internet safer together. We created a post that describes how to add #2FA to different services and will continue to update it. If your company offers 2FA, DM or tweet us how and we would love to add it! voiceprotect.me/blog/how-to-…
Why need VoiceProtect and 3FA via @TheEconomist: "Flaw [with SMS 2FA] lies with the weakest link: the phone system and the humans who run it...however, nearly all accounts that offer superior 2FA options also use text-messaging as a required backup, undermining their efficacy."
