Why does #RGB v0.12 matter for a phone wallet?
Transfer proofs can be processed as a stream rather than loaded as one large file.
That's one of the design choices behind our decision to build VOUT on v0.12.
Inscriptions. Runes. RGB. All in VOUT Lightning.
One Asset Channel Layer on our LDK fork, with a native anchor for each protocol: runestones for Runes, RGB anchors for RGB, and inscriptions next.
Zero-fee v3 commitments + P2A. Every asset, at Lightning speed.

What changes in #RGB v0.12?
A unified model for contract state, and a contract API that tells wallets how to work with each contract.
We're building VOUT around that approach, with the goal of making RGB easier to use and integrate.
An #RGB transfer carries more than an amount.
The receiving wallet checks the proofs against the contract's rules and history before accepting the asset.
That's client-side validation: checking what you receive, not just displaying a balance.
RGB Wallet Provider (RWP) v1.2 is live on Mainnet.
RWP is the open wallet standard for RGB DApps. Version 1.2 adds what DApps need to run real products on #RGB:
✅ Wallet sign-in (wallet_signIn): one stable identity per site, signed with BIP340. No email, no password, and nothing that links a user across sites.
✅ Project payment addresses (vra1…): every DApp gets its own address. ln_payAddress settles each payment exactly once, so retries can never double-charge.
✅ User-set allowances: the DApp asks, the user decides the amount. Inside it, no per-action pop-ups; decline and every payment is confirmed one by one.
✅ Event stream (ln_getEvents): payments, address and session changes delivered to the page or the backend as they happen.
✅ DApp server sessions: a project's backend can pay its users and read its treasury within limits the owner approves in the wallet.
The specification, OpenRPC schema and test vectors are public. Any RGB wallet can implement RWP, and any DApp built on it works across them.

VOUT’s developer documentation is live. At its center is RGB Wallet Provider (RWP), an interface that applications can use to connect to wallets and request Bitcoin, RGB and Lightning operations.
VOUT’s developer docs are live.
We want to help set a common standard for how RGB apps connect to wallets. Publishing our docs is a step toward that.
