including the entire ivy league except dartmouth: extremely good bit
The UAE lists 100 universities globally whose graduates can apply for the Abu Dhabi Golden Visa. I don’t see a single Indian University in the list. adro.gov.ae/-/media/Project/…

not sure that “despite putting up one of the worst individual statewide dem performances in the entire country, our candidate was carried to victory by a once-in-a-half-century political tidal wave” is the eat crow argument i’d go with, if it were me putting one together
Remember when AIPAC spent like 40 million dollars to beat Abdul and we endured like 40 million think pieces about how scary and unelectable he was?

think there’s a (small, but legit) chance we get D-TX, NC, maybe IA and OH, and R-ME and MI

Obv not what I’m hoping for but something like this would be an admittedly very funny outcome

sure ok
One of the most replicable findings in all of American political statistical analysis is that Republicans give significantly more to charity and volunteer more for the poor than democrats do. It's not even close. It has never been close.

a useful heuristic here imo is to imagine the type of person who outwardly (and inwardly, probably) identifies as an independent, nonpartisan mind, and loudly proclaims their vote needs to be earned. how does that demo tend to vote? i’d guess roughly 80-20 GOP
Talarico is the favorite, but there are more ways to look at this: Eg, "if you haven't decided to vote against Paxton by now, what could possibly convince you to" or "these undecideds are probably 3x Trump voters; getting them to break hard Paxton is easier than changing minds."

honestly i’d probably pay extra
99% of people would agree to be sedated and stacked like cordwood if they could save 25% on a flight, this is all the consumer’s fault

yes we’re summoning a demon. and sure, yes, the demon might kill us all. but it’s ok, we’re gonna slow down the ritual so things don’t go poorly. we’ll just keep a very close eye on the lines of the pentagram. stop? but we can’t, the schismatics are summoning one as we speak!

“good news or bad news first?” “good news please” “well, we found a natural, non-pharmaceutical cure for depression!” “oh, amazing. what’s the bad news?” “it’s the most expensive agricultural product on the planet”
studies show saffron is as effective for depression as SSRIs and as effective for ADHD as ritalin why is nobody talking about this?
