What do you guys think about the new FACEIT season? This time it’s not just high elo players getting touched — everyone gets a soft reset + 10 placement matches. Less elo loss overall, but you still have to grind through those games to “prove” where you belong. My take: If you’re exactly where you should be this actually helps you. Better teammates, cleaner games, more accurate ranks. But it will cost you time… 10 placements, some random games, maybe a bit of elo loss before you stabilize. If you’re underrated this is a big W. You’ll climb faster and easier. If you’re overrated you’re gonna feel it. The system will slowly bring you back down, and it won’t be fun. So in the end, everyone SHOULD just ends up where they belong… just with extra steps. Curious — do you think this system is actually better, or just a waste of time? #faceit #faceitseason #newseason #cs #cs2
