We can see top financial contributors for PHP have both Japanese org and people here
We give @automattic a lot of shit, but the company has contributed the most sponsorship money to the PHP Foundation since 2021. So there's that.

Impressive!
昨天参加完 DHH 和 Omarchy 深圳 Meetup,活动非常棒——如 @xdanger 所说,超过 500 人到场。xitter.cf/xdanger/status/2111390… Just wrapped the DHH & Omarchy Shenzhen Meetup — fantastic event. As @xdanger put it, 500+ people showed up. xitter.cf/xdanger/status/2111390… Now on an Air China flight back to Beijing; the onboard WiFi is surprisingly solid. On the plane, the foldable is the agent computer in your hand: Xiaomi 18 Fold (flagship foldable, XRING O3 top-tier flagship chip) running Omarchy for 50 minutes with pi + Xiaomi MiMo 2.6 Pro UltraSpeed — blazing fast. Shown here at 10x speed. @dhh @omarchy @xdanger @brutoshi @yourchinaguy

Hope one day hardware can be cheap and everyone can have a smart local model at home.

Some mistakes you might be making: Your effort level is too high Your skills are too long You're not aligning before you start work You're aligning too often, and too hard Your automated checks are too lax Your custom tooling is too token-inefficient You aren't doing enough automated review You aren't reviewing previous coding sessions (with an agent) You're doing too much human review You aren't vibe coding enough prototypes Your agent can't verify its own work You're babysitting the agent too much You've overloaded your global steering files Your codebase is hard to navigate You aren't building a shared language Your codebase architecture allows bad tests to be written You aren't thinking strategically enough You aren't thinking enough

i love writing. i never let agents write for me. whether it's docs, or tweets, or shitposts, or even prompts (okay maybe that one's harder as agents manage other agents) there's a simple reason for that: i still strongly believe that writing is thinking. it's a skill i hope to never give up. it's also important to me that whatever i say is always authentic, mistakes and all. my favorite posts are the ones that i just full send without any editing i suspect it also helps with prompting. being able to clearly express what i want, and knowing the vocabulary i need to be able to direct my agents does seem to make for more effective usage of agents. in the same way that engineers have an advantage when we prompt agents to write code, because we are intimately familiar with the words that make up the discipline knowing the right word incantations to get an agent to produce a desired goal almost feels like spellcasting. as models get more capable, and that input box looks more and more like a magic box that can output anything, words become the interface between you and the genie there may come a time when we give up the keyboard in exchange for brain-computer interfaces. but until then, i'm writing every word.

Code with AI in @Cursor_ai, get work done with @Bot, chat and create with @Grok, and benefit from all @X Premium features.

New for Rex testers. 👁️ Activity Mode shows you active and idling processes and agents for quick context switching, and some extra metadata. We're working our way slowly through the waitlist. Our priority is building quality software, so we're admitting testers in batches of 50 or 100 at the moment and addressing any feedback with the group before adding the next wave.

Goodbye to LeetCode? Google just updated its interview process. AI is now a part of it. They have introduced a new round called Code Comprehension. The idea behind this round is to drop the candidates into a 200-500-line codebase with Gemini available for use. This round evaluates: - Can you read someone else's code - Are you able to debug independently before utilizing AI - Can you catch when Gemini is wrong
