Tinodashe’s journey into sculpture was inspired by his father, Farai Mangenda, who has been a strong influence and a driving force behind his creative development. With a deep appreciation for his heritage, Tinodashe is committed to building on the artistic legacy passed down by his father. He hopes to see their family’s work continue to grow and gain recognition beyond Zimbabwe. He has gone through months of chemotherapy and treatment, but sadly, his cancer has returned. Doctors have said that chemotherapy is no longer enough and that Aiden urgently needs a bone marrow transplant. The procedure is not available in Zimbabwe, so he has been referred to Max Super Speciality Hospital in New Delhi, India. The family has so far managed to raise just over US$17,000 of the US$41,500 needed for his treatment. They are now racing against time to raise the remaining funds and get Aiden the transplant he urgently needs.
