It is one of the most guarded documents in the country’s recent history. For months, Parliament has demanded to see the contract for the multi-billion-shilling construction and equipping of the Bomas International Convention Complex (BICC). The Ministry of Defence, which took over the project from the Ministry of Gender, Culture, and Heritage, has stonewalled legislators, citing commercial confidentiality and national security protocols.

Kenya's inflation came in at 7.3%/yr in October. That's ABOVE its target of 5%/yr.
Kenya's money supply (M3) is growing at 11.9%/yr, ABOVE Hanke's Golden Growth Rate of 10.7%/yr, a rate consistent with Kenya's inflation target of 5%/yr.
THE INFLATION STORY = A MONEY SUPPLY STORY.

What are China’s “Six Networks”?
They’re a massive push into infrastructure:
1. Water - esp. cross-regional systems
2. Power grid - esp. smart grid for renewables
3. Compute - AI data centers, national network
4. Communications - 5G-A, fiber, satellite
5. Urban underground pipelines
6. Logistics - smart integrated transport
Head of NDRC said China is already spending over US$ 1 trillion this year alone on Six Networks and related areas.

Kenya is not only in debt to lenders. It is in debt to its suppliers.
Nairobi alone owes nearly half of all county pending bills: Sh86.9B by June 2026.
More than 72% of these bills are over 2 years old.
Picture the supplier. You took a bank loan to buy the goods. You delivered. 2 years later, the county has not paid, and the interest on your loan keeps growing.
How does this happen? Every year, the county approves a budget. Last year, Nairobi received Sh37.92 billion, 85% of its budget. So why are suppliers still not paid?
We cannot keep forcing local businesses to finance the government through unpaid invoices.
Choose wisely Nairobi, we cannot afford another term in this mess.
