Ben Walker

See ya Marnus

Good to see So You Are book it’s spot in the Cup. @BBakerRacing has done a great job with him but a lot of the credit must go to Stirling Osland, who recognised he was a stayer with talent, travelled him and toughened him up so well. He’ll go well on Tuesday.

Someone tell old mate that captains the cricket team that if you’re going to bring the spinner back in, they’re better utilised in the fourth innings rather than the 10th over on an absolute road.

If there’s a footy god Sam Walker comes home @brisbanebroncos

Some good news from @racing_nsw - the Coona Cup and Coona Sprint that were abandoned yesterday have been added to Dubbo’s big Golden Eagle Derby Day meeting this Saturday, the biggest social event on the local calendar. Will be a bumper card and the crowd will be massive.

Nice Derby trial by Hierachy. Draws a gate it finishes much, much closer.

Has a cricketer ever started the day and ended the day batting as a night watchman in separate innings?

Frontline spinner might be handy right about now.

Many years ago Karloo Mick won the last race at Harold Park for Dubbo. Tonight Magpie Hector wins at Wenty for Forbes. The central west punches above its weight on the big nights #westisbest @MickWallaceMail

Renshaw simply showing what can happen when you play a test cricket innings. Good to see.

Was that Land Legend or Pride Of Jenni?

For months I’ve been “anyone but Penrith” but gotta admit, that got tested big time tonight.

Three and a half hour drive home well spent listening to Silverchair to get into the grand final spirit.

I bet when @BBakerRacing won the Golden Rose on Saturday he didn’t think that would only be the second most significant win of the weekend. Go the Dubbo Cup!!!

Track gallop for Gallant Star on his path to the Kosciuszko @racing_nsw

Don’t get jealous @Chargey76 but I reckon I’m @munsieanne ‘s favourite

Wow that’s an all time bottling of a GF by Freo.

Klein obviously doesn’t event want to be in the bunker for the GF.

Sad news out of Dubbo with the passing of trainer Bobby Caton. A great man whose best horses were Master Patrick (18 wins) and Rafoy (21 wins). In the 1995/96 season alone, Bobby won 11 races with Rafoy. They don’t make them like that any more #vale

A big happy birthday to the Sheriff @cavanoughracing
