the fact that grass can become a sweater through the intermediary of a sheep ought to astonish us more than it does.

The fact that the Epstein class was revealed to have killed, raped, and eaten children and babies and it DIDN’T stop the world dead in it’s tracks and create a sense of urgency to remove the current administration is beyond me.

Theory: One of the reasons the country had such a huge blue wave was that Americans everywhere saw how awesome Zohran Mamdani has been for New York City and collectively said, "I'll have what THEY are having!"

Welcome to Congress SENATOR Andrews.
The party that elevates Kyle Rittenhouse, a 17 yr old killer, & tears down Gus Walz, a 17 yr old with special needs who loves his dad, is a party that needs to be lit on fire & thrown in the dumpster & plunged into the deepest depths of the ocean never to be seen again.

I signed a proclamation that will prevent future changes to my apartment. No other tenant, according to my very legal and binding proclamation, can take the giant "The WHO" poster off the wall, move any of the fake plastic trees, or paint the wall any color but mauve.

this will sound mean but PLEASE get over things faster. You don’t want to waste your good years being angry, bitter, and sad.

Zohran Mamdani: “It’s not enough for us as Democrats to win power. We have to use that power to deliver change that Americans can feel in their wallets. When you look at these campaigns, if we want to speak about James Talarico, he campaigned on a vision for universal childcare. If you want to talk about Keisha Lance Bottoms, she campaigned on a vision of cutting red tape to build housing. If you want to talk about Jocelyn Benson, she campaigned on a moratorium for data centers. What I’m excited to see now is a recognition that the work is only just starting and this has to be delivered for working people across the country”

I will absolutely lose my mind if Schumer and Jeffries blow this. The American people don't want to "get even". We want the rule of law for everyone. We want affordability. But we also want this criminally corrupt administration that is killing people held accountable.

Hakeem Jeffries says, "The American people don't want us to get even; they want us to get things done on their behalf." ENFORCING THE RULE OF LAW is not "getting even." It's the bare minimum!!

Last night, Sen. Andy Kim (D-NJ) told me something I keep thinking about: While Democrats may want to celebrate, they need to remember that this isn't a sporting event. This is Americans sending the strongest signal possible that they are in pain, and hurting, and want help. Now Congress needs to answer that call. It was powerful stuff, and if the party is smart they'll follow his instincts.

I think about this every two years. What if all the money put into these elections was put into the country?
It's crazy that the amount of money spent during election cycles could literally fix most of the fucking problems politicians campaign on.

In a weird way, everybody is rooting for you. When you go to a job interview, the interviewer wants you to be amazing so they don’t have to look anymore. when you go on a date, the person wants to have an amazing date with you. If you make a piece of content, people want to see amazing pieces of content and they have no problem if it’s yours. the instant you get into the mindset that people want you to do well, your entire world gets better. And you’ll be shocked to know this pattern keeps repeating in different areas of life.
Hit me with the harshest reality truth.

Patrick Stewart was, like many of the greatest British artists of the 20th Century, a working class boy who became a world-class artist thanks to a public arts education made possible by Post War social democracy. He never forgot it.
