As a kid, whenever we went to the Apple Store I'd run to the back to play the demo games on the iMacs. Now, in an absolutely crazy, full-circle moment, my own game @BlackboxPuzzles is one of those games on thousands of iPads in hundreds of Apple Stores around the world.
Love @CraigGrannell's summary of @BlackboxPuzzles:
"Your Duo has two touchscreens. Blackbox wants you to touch neither and instead solve puzzles by way of sensors you rarely think about and never use."
Very proud to have @BlackboxPuzzles as of the first deeply iPhone compatible apps celebrated on the @AppStore!

If your company refers to engineers as the IT department, you have nothing to worry about. You were already breached last week.
I'm embarrassed to say how many years it's been but @BlackboxPuzzles just got it's 82nd challenge :)
Oh and full iPhone Duo support in any pose, orientation, split, fold, you name it ✨ More to come and a lot sooner than last time…

If you're hearing about the lack of app support on the Duo and wagging your finger at the makers of your favorite app…
+ Duo is a complicated device—many poses & core UI changes.
+ Developers had 3 weeks before press units went out
+ Likely <1% were able to test on real devices
+ Expect many app updates to land before you get your device
+ Long term, it'll take time for new patterns to emerge
Lastly, app makers don't get any of the $2K+ you paid for this device and most won't make any additional $ off this work. So instead of wagging your finger, consider a hug.

Incredible – he just made Labyrinth for iPhone Duo.
The best part is using the hinge to fling the marble into the air.
I saw the demo in-person on his test Android device
🌧️ I'm making a new app called Droog (Dutch for "dry")
But there's a catch… it's only for the Netherlands! So if you live here please try it out before I launch. I would love to hear what you think. Blijf droog! ☔

I get done in one morning what used to take me over a week yet I'm still stressed and feel behind. Incredible.
