Every wrestling argument is "I like this guy better than that other guy and ur a fucking idiot moron who should die if you disagree"
Mid-card champ Bret taking a backseat to the Mountie in Montreal. Woof!

Shawn likes to blame Bret for pulling out his hair in their '97 backstage brawl causing a permanent bare spot but he was clearly balding the year prior.
“Well thank you so much McMahon,
but I gotta thank Sunny even more. Now I know baby that you can't get no action and the only action you get is from the Heartbreak Kid but once again thanks for the cakes... if you know what I mean.”
Delivered live on the July 22, 1996 episode of Monday Night Raw right in the middle of Shawn and Sunny’s real-life 9-month affair. HBK was dropping shoot comments on broadcast TV with zero filter.
Maturing is realizing that the "Sunny Days" comments were true and Sunny was the reason for the beef between Bret and Shawn.
"Shawn walked up behind me... looking over my head and all of a sudden he goes… 'You feel that?' I went ‘Matter of fact I do."
Tammy Sytch (Sunny) on how her secret 9-month affair with Shawn Michaels started backstage in 1996.
Tammy reveals that while she and Chris Candido appeared together on TV they were quietly separated during 1996-1997. What began at the entrance curtain turned into a secret romance known only to The Klick and Vince McMahon.
Things got so intense that Shawn took her to Jamaica booking a $5,000-a-night honeymoon suite where he had a private guitarist play Elvis while singing "Welcome to My World" to her over dinner.
The affair ultimately ended when HBK asked her to move into his new Texas mansion and Tammy turned him down to give her marriage with Chris another shot.
The Rockers were one of the greatest tag teams EVER but Vince is so enamored with Shawn he never once truly celebrated them or put them up on a pedestal with his other great teams. No wonder people forget!
Drew McIntyre recalls someone at the WWE Performance Center asking ‘who’s the Rockers?’ in front of Shawn Michaels:
“When I tore my bicep, I was out for three months in NXT. I was going stir crazy, so I’d drive down to the PC just to work with Shawn and watch tapes and stuff because you’ve got Shawn Michaels; use him if you’re at the PC.
I’ve heard somebody literally say, ‘Who’s the Rockers?’ One time while Shawn was standing there, learn your history for the love of God.”

I've always said that many AEW fans don't actually like pro wrestling. They enjoy it in a campy, ironic way. But they don't *care* for it. They don't respect it very much, despite thinking they do. Always quick to mock. This is yet another example.
Sting's a good worker but his Scorpion death lock always looked like shit. There's a reason Bret is more known for it despite him blatantly copying Sting.

Y'all really just be having the same wrestling discussions for decades without any movement. It's just the same thing over and over again. No new interventions. Just narrative reinforcement.
