We pushed formal verification through our shielded pool, from the written spec down to the bytecode running on Sepolia.
Each layer got its own tool: Lean for the model, circuits and hash, Halmos and Kontrol for the contract, Aeneas and Verus for the wallet, and byte-for-byte rebuilds for the verifiers and the deployment.
What we proved, what we found and what we still assume, in the thread below.

DeepSeek V4.1 Flash Ultrafast (1500 token/s) is a completely new experience, it feels a lot more like chatting and real-time interaction than any other Agentic system.
Watch the turn stats on the top right!
I got some NVL72 GB300 available for some people to test as well. Will drop tomorrow :)

What if @ethereum could verify ZK proofs itself, so rollups and apps wouldn't need to run their own verifiers?
This could be achieved through native proof verification.
And we've made some progress there over the past month: the draft for EIP-8357 was merged, and a native rollup is now running on a devnet 👇

Great to see ethrex proving Sepolia blocks side by side with @openvm_org.
Ethereum’s move toward execution proofs should preserve client diversity from day one.
Thanks @ignaciohagopia, @TauLepton_, and everyone bringing EIP-8025 to life!
Let there be proofs! 🎉
Running an EIP-8025 execution-proof prover on Sepolia: blocks proven in ~6–7s on 16× RTX 5090 with OpenVM, for two guests, ethrex + reth (8 GPUs each).
36k+ proofs and counting.
Big shoutout to the prover teams, guest program teams and everyone who contributed to making this a reality!
We'll be rotating provers and guests over the coming days and weeks. Which prover + guest should we spin up next?
⚠️ Experimental: validators MUST NOT rely on execution proofs for fork choice or attestations. Keep running an execution client. (Yes, Sepolia validators are permissioned, but still 🙂)

Last week, core devs had to delay forking the Hoodi testnet to Glamsterdam to study a report by @chain_security which revealed some problems with how EIP-8037 interacts with a few contracts.
Over the weekend, ppl tried to get a better picture of the impact and by now it's quite well understood. So here's what you need to know:
What's been known is that contracts which hardcode forwarded gas are affected by repricings, e.g. making state writes (SSTORE) more expensive.
What's new is that some coding patterns rely on specific invariant which were broken with EIP-8037.
Gas already spent can come back mid-tx, so gasleft() can go up. This causes two problems:
(1) a before / after gas counter underflows and reverts
(2) a failed sub-call hands gas back, so a path that should've been unreachable runs, and the tx looks like it succeeded
Related but different: (3) measuring the gas usage of a call using GAS - before and after the call - might undercount because the state gas reservoir is not visible during execution (e.g. gas_left).
It's now about deciding how to proceed. Delaying hoodi bought time but won't resolve the issue. This week, we have to dig deep into contracts and make sure nothing is missed. Eventually, this might just need some coordination among the involved parties (dapps, core devs, auditors, people running nodes, etc.), or worst-case, spec changes.
If you're an app dev or auditor, check your contracts for issues with EIP-8037/EIP-8038, and report them.
Also, share this with your favorite app dev to spread awareness.
⚠️ It has just been decided to delay the Glamsterdam hard fork on the Hoodi testnet because of security impacts we identified in this blog post: chainsecurity.com/blog/glams…
We already found 13 real-world examples and are in responsible disclosure with the affected projects.
Please check your contracts as soon as possible, as the EF is determining how many contracts are impacted in which way.

This weekend we launched EthLib, a Lean4 library for Ethereum!
The goal is to bring Ethereum's primitives, specifications and theorems into one place, building a shared foundation for formally specifying and proving things about Ethereum.

- Currently available only on Strata's TUI
- App support comes in later today
- Strix Halo & Mac support also comes later today
- Huge performance improvements also later today

但我知道Spark1.3那个是真拉。
Kimi K3.1 Pro
DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 (max):42.7
Muse Wonder Full 1.0 (max):42
Opus 5.5 (max):41.7
Kimi K3.1 Pro (max):36
Muse Spark 1.3 (max):32.2
DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 (max):$1.84
Opus 5.5 (max):$58.53
Kimi K3.1 Pro (max):$13.76
DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017

running a US company
being a US permanent resident
using claude only for personal + business work
temporarily staying in China
took my annual renewal for the team plan
2 days later: account is banned
@claudeai, can you at least explain what happened?
and if being physically in China is a hard restriction, then just refund the unused subscription and maybe don’t ban accounts right after taking their annual renewal
