Still recovering from the Two Bears 5K in Pasadena. Really good seeing Tom and Bert again, and somehow pulling off a 24-minute 5K with basically zero training ๐

As someone who has won awards during my feature days of yesteryear, I feel I can say this - awards given to you by PEOPLE are 100% subjective. This isn't a track meet where the person who crosses the finish line first is "the best." It is an opinion. Don't let an opinion of a group of people validate or invalidate you. YOU rock regardless of anyone's opinion. Rant over. Just frustrated to see so many people saddened by a lack of an award - an award that ultimately won't change their bank account or their life. It is a temporary ego boost that feels good but it doesn't last. I promise you.

I am finally brave enough to share this footage. 5 years ago I captured some cryptoid creatures many would call #Bigfoot and possibly a #Unicorn I call them my monsters. We love going to Hawaii, eating in Hawaii, and most of all, talking about Hawaii. Our hearts go out to those who are experiencing extreme loss due to the devastating fires in Maui.
