A little #WordPress #PageSpeed optimization I worked on recently, for Santa Barbara Wine Liner. The site had issues primarily with mobile LCP. I improved scores across the board by an average of 41% 📈, with an average 73% improvement in mobile LCP! (1/2)

Why? So we can empower more of this??

They replace your page (only when it detects a speed test so normal visitors don't see it) with this "you're doing it wrong" page 🤯. They want you to use only their internal tool to check your performance.

I really hate how and why this word has entered back into the mainstream. But using it in an actual product is mindblowingly ignorant, unprofessional (at best) and shameful.

Speed tools: @wp_rocket and @_perfmatters are 2 tools I like and use regularly, for different reasons. You don't need to choose between them, you can pick & choose features to use from each, as you fancy! webtrainingwheels.com/wp-roc… #webperf #webperformance #pagespeed #WordPress

Performance is more than just load times. #WooCommerce store owners can get some good tips from @remkusdevries 's video: youtube.com/watch?v=COsKlc-O… Some are related to speed, others to usability and business operations.
