Problem with media literacy in Dune discourse is, each book is a constant debate about the previous book's ideas being wrong. Instead of the conclusion "there's no absolute right in complex systems such as weather and politics" people hang on to the "heroes and villains" binary.
Cricket is not hard because of the speeds of the ball. There is variation in where the ball lands on the ground, variation in the bounce, the pitch deviates the path of the ball, the air deviates the path of the ball, They are different sports. Different challenges. 🤦🤦
This has become a thing online because anime fans nowadays put a lot more value into what non anime fans think of something rather than people who actually care about the medium. Not sure if it comes from insecurity but yeah. Things dont have to be "mainstream" to be popular.
