BNY and Citadel Securities just demonstrated something important for tokenized Treasuries.
They bought a 2-year U.S. Treasury, settled its tokenized representation within minutes, then used it as collateral for an overnight repo. The asset didn’t just get tokenized. It moved from trading to settlement to financing in one connected workflow.
If tokenized assets can be put to work faster, the real value is in the capital they unlock not the token itself.

The funniest part with crypto is,
Just when it looks as horrific as possible, it tends to go up and everyone mutters, "Damn, it was so obvious."
It's almost like this whole game is psychological.
Nothing to do with numbers or quants.
