The presumption that the Fed raising short-term rates reduces inflation is predicated on the belief that higher rates reduce demand and investment.
But what if higher rates don’t reduce demand and investment because the demand for intelligence and energy is unaffected by higher rates because winning the race for super intelligence has a near infinite ROI and the demand for compute will remain incalculable.
Why won’t higher rates at this unique moment in history therefore lead to more inflation as interest costs are embedded in everything?
And the problem is compounded as the more the Fed raises rates, the more inflation we will have and the more the Fed will need to raise rates further and so on.
But what if the old models don’t apply to the current paradigm and the Fed is wrong?
I think the Fed might have just made a mistake. Am I right or am I wrong?

For my Grand Conspiracy book grandconspiracybook.com, for just one my chapters, on McCabe (who opened investigation of President Trump on Obama's orders) I had to:
--read each individual message
--ocr each and create a spreadsheet
--guess what's redacted, decipher coded language
--put it into a chronology that I have been building for 10 years, and see how each message fits
--compare what McCabe said in his testimony, in his book, in his emails, and in his tv appearances
--see what others like Comey and Strzok and Page were doing at the same time
I cannot wait to finish the book!

Todd: Hello… Operator… listen to me. I can’t speak very loud. This is an emergency. I’m a passenger on a United flight to San Francisco. Our plane has been hijacked.
Lisa: I understand. Can they see you?
Todd: No. There are three that we know of. They have knives — razor knives, like box cutters. Someone announced from the cockpit there was a bomb. It sounded fake.
Lisa: Your name?

What many of you are seeing now is why the GOP has always been bifurcated.
You have republicans, some establishment; some who want government to play a non-neutral role in our lives, maybe to a lesser extent than the left; and then you have conservatives/classical liberals/constitutionalists who think a republic is a structure to constrain the size of government, which should not be invited to cultivate society or be anything but a neutral observer in business.
Government isn’t something you tame, it’s something you restrict. People don’t need a nanny state to pay others to mind their own children — and the idea that we’re supposed to shut up and accept this makegood in lieu of ending runaway spending and lowering taxes so people can keep their own money for their own childcare instead of receiving handouts — is an insulting lie.
Congress could do this if they wanted. Instead of this Obama 2.0 redistribution of wealth they could do just the two things above. The reality is they won’t, because they’re spineless and need to buy voters off now, not later. Some voters won’t force them, either, because in reality, some voters aren’t actually conservative in that they believe government should guarantee prosperity and happiness, rather than the simple opportunity to freely pursue it.
And spare me the “wELl iT’S moNeY alREAdy aLLOcaTed” — and? To argue this is to presume that this is Washington’s money, not taxpayer money. It’s rotten stewardship and absolutely, unequivocally socialist. I don’t care how long the structure has existed or how you want to modify it. That’s irrationally bad logic. Tell yourself whatever you have to in order to sugar that pill, I suppose, but facts are facts.
This isn’t a strategy, it’s a surrender.

If I were in Congress, the 3 most important pieces of legislation I would champion are:
1) End birthright citizenship & limit it to children of American citizens
2) The SAVE America Act to require photo ID & documentary proof of citizenship
3) Codify that the Census should ONLY include American citizens — neither illegal aliens nor legal non-citizens should count in the apportionment of House seats

SAVE ACT: Despite 30 Democrat-controlled states blocking the release of their voter rolls to the DOJ, we are beginning to get evidence that noncitizens and illegal aliens are registering to vote all over the US and voting in our federal elections. We've been told it is illegal for noncitizens to vote in our elections, so it can't happen - we need a better tool to stop them - the Save America Act is that tool. Call Senator Thune (and your own senators) and demand that he do whatever it takes to pass the bill that the vast majority of Americans support, no demand.

@SenRonJohnson confirms that Nikki Floris was one of the FBI agents who gave him and @ChuckGrassley a "defensive briefing" about a Russian disinformation campaign targeting the Biden family.
An FBI defensive briefings is a specialized counterintelligence presentation that is done to alert, in this case members of congress, that they maybe the target of a foreign intelligence service.
Senator Johnson said he believes the FBI "defensive briefing' was designed to discourage Senators from pursuing the Hunter Biden laptop, and to lay the groundwork, for the false narrative in October 2020, that Hunter Biden's laptop was part Russian influence operation.
Based on her recent online profile, I have asked her employer for comment.
