[Storm doesn't say anything. He stares at the screens, tense and expressionless.]
[Something shifts within him. He clenches his fists.]
[He can't let this man win.]
[Speaking of Bucky, Storm had made it back to his floor. There wasn't.. really a goal here, he just wanted to go as far as he could handle. Yet without 2/3 of the floor's residents being present, there wasn't much point in staying either.]

[The incident with the coated stranger breaking in the other day had, thankfully, not actually put Storm too far back in his progress at all. Maybe it was because, given the circumstances, the man hadn't been all that cruel. Small victories?]

[He didn't remember when he made it back to his floor, nor does he know how long it's been since he had. He'd locked himself in his room, cycling between dissociation and active panic. Nothing felt safe. His brother was sick and he was dying and Storm had touched that sick.]

*it doesnt take long until silhouette is passed out, too. his dreams are plagued with thoughts of bolt losing to the rot, and of it spreading out to the rest of the world, but he keeps still. even unconscious, he knows bolt needs rest.*

[Wave had just left his floor not too long ago after visiting him, now that she was back in the tower.]
[It was nice, they got to catch up, and she was kind enough to update the albatross on how Bolt was doing. Bird flu, never fun. Storm didn’t envy him.]
[Now, he found himself sitting near his stairwell. Wave had already given him a bit of grief for it, but it made him feel safer to watch an exit, to have it in his line of sight, than to know that it existed, just away from him. It was illogical, he knew that, but still.]
