There are many people in this country whom should simply drop dead. Like, do it tonight, the country and the world are better without you.

Arthur Weasley is the MVP of the first 10 chapters of Goblet of Fire, and honestly, I will not be taking arguments.
- Shows up at the Dursleys to get Harry, fully prepared to take him whether Vernon likes it or not.
- Accidentally destroys their living room, which feels like the universe finally giving the Dursleys some consequences.
- Makes Vernon say goodbye to Harry even after Harry admits he doesn’t care, because Arthur recognises how cruel it is to let a child leave for nine months without a proper goodbye.
- Patiently answers Harry’s endless questions about Splinching and explains how everything for the Quidditch World Cup works.
- Has the absolute time of his life with a Muggle mallet and matches. The man is a national treasure.
- Immediately gets angry when Amos Diggory suggests Harry might have conjured the Dark Mark.
- And when the Ministry officials are questioning Winky, Arthur is the one who treats her kindly and offers a sensible explanation for why she might have been holding a wand.
What makes Arthur so great is that his kindness isn’t limited to Harry or people he already likes. He’s curious about Muggles, protective of children, and willing to defend someone others are happy to look down on.
Arthur Weasley owns the first 100 pages of Goblet of Fire. The man is a walking green flag in a world full of people who desperately need one.

To the people, especially those in the United States, who don’t understand the protests in France:
A government that doesn’t fear the people is a government that doesn’t serve the people.
One of my favorite lines is when Dumbledore muses to Snape that he sometimes wonders if they sort the students into houses at too young of an age.
(aka: We force students into a mold long before they've had a chance to demonstrate what kind of person they truly are.)

People are afraid to say it, but not me: the average American voter is just dumb as shit.

God dude shit like this lights my soul on fire. Never give into their framing. Never back away in the face of their overt bigotry. Talk them down and reveal them as the hateful morons that they are!!!!
I love that they both grow up and mature with each other but they should not have ended up together.
"No AI in the classroom" will become a standard selling point in private schools charging $50,000 a year.
The Frederick (MD) County Board of Education voted to institute a blanket ban on AI tools for all Pre-K through 12th grade students, for now wusa9.com/article/news/educa…

those videos of men being asked if they can beat a professional female sprinter, basketball player, weightlifter, etc. and confidently saying yes, only to lose and look genuinely shocked, irritate me so bad bc all these men hear is “female.” they don’t hear professional.
Women, you are most likely lifting too light. I made this mistake. Remember, a set is max 10-12 for your lower-end weights, 6-8 for your higher-end weights.
The reason this matters is because there's a fine line between wearing down your body versus actually building muscle.
sincere q: i personally am not a user but a lot of people on my train commute to work on. it smells so nauseating to me. do other people also feel it's nauseating? does it initially feel that way?
