URGENT SAFETY MESSAGE – BRAY TO GREYSTONES CLIFF WALK As you are aware the Bray to Greystones Cliff Walk remains closed due to significant safety concerns. To assess if further deterioration had occurred after recent severe weather events, RPS consultants carried out a visual inspection along the Cliff Walk path on the Greystones side. Following this assessment RPS has identified further deterioration of the slopes. These slopes were previously assessed by RPS as having the highest risk of failure. As it was not safe to access the sea cliffs, the likelihood that further unidentified instability is present within the sea cliffs cannot be discounted. Please be aware that given the unstable nature of these features and their proximity to the path they represent a significant risk to the path and any persons using the path. Wicklow County Council wishes to remind the public that the Bray to Greystones Cliff Walk remains closed due to these significant safety concerns. #BrayHead #BrayGreystones #BrayGreystonesCliffWalk

The Glenmalure Play Area and Loop, completed in November 2024, was developed to create a natural play area in Glenmalure. The design aims to encourage families to spend time outdoors, helping children connect with nature, move freely, and discover the beauty of Wicklow's wild landscapes. Blending seamlessly into its surroundings and utilizing natural materials, this imaginative structure invites exploration, creativity and encourages a love for the outdoors. This initiative’s land and play area are owned and managed by Ballinacor Community Field - funded via Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme 2022 with matching funding from Wicklow County Council. #WicklowCountyCouncil #GlenmalurePlayAreaAndLoop #Glenmalure
