UNC-Chapel Hill settled a USDOJ civil rights investigation into allegations of affirmative action and antisemitism. Other universities the Trump administration went after had to pay tens of millions to settle. UNC paid $0. And made some promises about doing better in the future.
Unclear if that's more of a reflection of the seriousness of the allegations, or of the political effectiveness of UNC's Republican trustees and administration.

Notable that the state's (Jewish) governor has few details on the settlement the state's flagship university just reached over allegations of antisemitism. Gov. Stein told @carolineyaffatv today: "I hope that UNC has reached a good settlement, and I will eagerly study it."

There are 24 NC House seats where 46% to 56% of voters backed Trump in 2020 (the most recent data the NCGA has)
Republicans currently have 19 of the 24. Democrats would have to hold all of theirs this year, and also flip most of the GOP seats, to take the majority. #ncpol
