we found a real SQLi fix had been written and merged into ProFTPD's dev branch back in July but was never backported to the actual 1.3.9 release.
the scariest bugs aren't always undiscovered ones, sometimes they're already-fixed bugs that never made it into releases. catching that gap is just as valuable as finding the bug in the first place.
this is one small result from a bigger effort we're building with project apex.

so this is FleetGlass, eventually releasing as a product under @zauthinc too. a native macOS app that puts our whole @flydotio fleet on my desktop. not a Grafana replacement by any means, but super helpful for quick glances.
live log tail straight from fly logs, with errors and warnings auto flagged and filtered. realtime CPU, memory, network and req/s pulled live off each machine, plus little sparklines per app so i can spot trouble at a glance. floating glass panel that stays on top across all my spaces.
while testing our new top secret products, it's helped a ton with catching where things go wrong. quick to iterate, quick to read logs.
of course when trying to move our infra off of @Railway, @Cloudflare begins having problems. nice
