Three things that destroyed memecoins this cycle
-Trenchification
Instead of finding gems to hold we played hot potato with daily trends
-Lack of Responsibility
No one wants to take control or create anything. It’s just well if it happens it happens.
No one wants to push coins they just buy on tracked wallets and claim they were just gambling when it goes wrong.
-Leadership
All the kols “adapted” to cheap money and gave up their values quickly under the guise of adaptation. That’s not your favorite kol that’s a rapist who can’t trade and uses you till there’s nothing left to use.
-Unit bias
Unfortunately started by one of my favorite memes #HarryPotterObamaSonic10inu, and more popularized by wif, suddenly every meme had 1B supply and 1$ mental target got lower and lower. Before we knew it no one believed anything could run to billions so they sold sooner and sooner.
-Pump fun
We’ve always had launchpads. Anyone with half a brain and the will to do it could figure out how to launch a coin. Pump fun took it and packaged it as something seemingly harmless and degenerate, but take off the mask and it’s diseased
