I completely bypassed my mechanical fuel pump and powering the car solely with the electric pump. I did a cold start this morning to compare responsiveness vs purely mechanical pumping
Went for a drive after all that. Test drove my new brakes, refreshed mirrors, new electric fuel pump conversion, and new gear shift knob
Guess who almost died :3
I was lifting the car up from the rear diff so that I could take out both rear jackstands and put the car back on the ground. Then the jack decided to topple over, bringing the car down with it while I was partially under the car reaching for the jack
I hope this electric low pressure fuel pump (HEP-02A) will solve my vapor locking and/or fuel percolation issues that typically happen on hot idle when sitting in traffic on a hot day (every single day in a tropical country)
From junkyard side mirrors to like-brandnew mirrors :3 and I got the adjustment linkages working again too
Me but I'm trying to start a long time dream business of mine at a tumultuous time in my careerm. I've had multiple employers who've shown me not to trust them, so here I am trying to be my own employer. I've been working really hard towards it, but my funds are still short.
