Berhenti menghukum dirimu sendiri atas keputusan masa lalu, saat kamu mengambilnya dengan kepala yang belum sedewasa sekarang. Penyesalan tidak memperbaiki keadaan apapun. Sebab, hidup baru berubah di saat kamu berani bangkit dan membersihkan sisa-sisa serpihannya. Jika hari ini duniamu terasa amat sangat sesak dan berat ketahuilah kamu bukan satu satunya yang sedang diam-diam berjuang agar tidak menyerah.

Penyesalan diciptakan sebagai pengingat bahwa waktu dan perbuatan itu satu arah. Begitu sesuatu terjadi, ia tidak bisa dikembalikan ke kondisi semula. Kita bisa meminta maaf, memperbaiki, atau belajar, tapi momen yang sudah lewat tidak bisa diulang persis seperti semula.

Realita manusia butuh tautan lain untuk tidak sekedar tumbuh tapi juga berubah. Agaknya sedikit egois ketika tumbuh hanya untuk “DIRI SENDIRI”. Di saat ada manusia lain yang andil menyiram, memupuk dan mendoakanmu. Dan rasanya mereka lebih pantas untuk memetik dan menikmati buah hidupmu daripada dirimu sendir. Semisal orang tua dan manusia baik lainnya .

Freedom is not about doing everything we want; it is about knowing which "no" serves to protect our greater "yes." We often forget that certain rules exist precisely because the world is not always a gentle place. Prohibitions do not exist to torment us, but because life recognizes that we may not yet be strong enough to survive without a protective barrier.
