Hey @workingclassrep - I don't suppose you could please share this 🙏
Hello, I have a ticket for @stockportnoir this Saturday that I'd like to donate to someone from a working class, low income household. If you fit the bill, please drop me a DM.
Retweets appreciated as I'd hate to see the ticket wasted!

Amazing news 👏🏻👏🏻
Delighted, thrilled, grateful - above all else, chuffed😉- to share that after a seventy year absence, Jack Hilton is finally returning to print next year
And with no better a team behind him than @ndskidmore and @vintagebooks !

I’ve read 3 badly written celebrity fiction books recently. 3 books that wouldn’t have got a publishing deal but for the name on the cover. That’s 3 advances that could have gone to real writers who could have done something amazing. 3 books so bad the editor couldn’t save them 🙁 – at South East, England

Similar but (slightly) different cover for the paperback of No One Round Here Reads Tolstoy, published on 4 May, 2023 by Canongate. Big thanks to @BenMyers1 and @themarkrad for their kind words. Still wearing that ace jumper.

One of my aims for 2023 is to provide as many opportunities for people as I can.
It's that simple. #HNY

Dialect is an inclusive platform & we've been seriously searching for writers of diverse heritage who live in the south west to work with on a new project - please can you let me know if this is you or if you would recommend any writer friends who might fit the bill? TIA 🙏

I’m just interested to know how many working class literary agents there are?
Are you one? Do you know of one?
Please can you raise your hand! ❤️🙏
A reminder to link us in with any writing opportunities for working class writers. We can promote and share these with our network
Please share 🙏❤️

📣🧵 Attention writers: This is a call for pitches. We want to commission (paid!) features on housing, immigration, racism, inequality & the environment. Appalling landlords? Bring them. Inner workings of the Home Office? Give em here. Evidence of systemic racism? Write it up...

Bea on the Ball @workingclassrep – at Lewes, England
Year 6 were visited by author Paul Sheppard @Shameus4 today, who talked about his book #beaontheball and delivered a workshop. The children asked interesting and relevant questions and then challenged themselves to write creatively about a real life experience. @Cabotfederation
