Can we replace Tim Sweeney with a vibecode one yet
Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney says Valve "has held gaming back for years."
Sweeney was replying to Kiaran Ritchie, a former principal animation programmer at Epic, who criticized Steam's 30% cut and said "You could vibe code a Steam alternative in a week." Sweeney wrote that Valve locks developers' PC games into "Steamworks' social walled garden where players can't talk to other players on iOS, Android, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, or even other PC stores."
A community note was added saying many games use Steamworks only for authentication to allow crossplay and handle the rest themselves. Sweeney called the note "fake," saying Steam Datagram Relay "isn't related to the things I cited: social, and players talking to each other across platforms."

Whenever there's a general election in America, the voters should also have to vote for new name for the parties, and the parties have to use those names for everything until the next election.
Can't wait to see the Liberal McLibface party go up against the GayPedophiles party.

Saw a guy call it cuck coding instead of vibe coding because you just sit in a chair and watch😭
Wow, it's been nearly two years since I actually posted a standalone fic. This one is cute lewd thing with Tate X Acerola.

Discord already has this info. Your friends list, the servers you're in, etc. How could they possibly NOT have it? The difference is now they're also using it to comply with government-mandated age verification instead of asking for an ID. Blame your governments, not Discord.
Good news: Discord's new age verification means more than 90% of users won't be asked to confirm their age at all. Instead, it's going to... profile you?
It just needs to know who your friends are, which communities you're part of, what games you play, how often you're online, and the full shape of your social graph.
They're calling it "privacy-preserving." Because technically they're not reading your messages.
In September 2025, a vendor Discord used for age-related appeals was compromised, potentially exposing government ID photos from around 70,000 users. That manual review process has been retired. For most users, the behavioural model now estimates their age group instead.
"Privacy-preserving." Cool. 🙂
