I think that it’s possible and desirable to remake society into a democratic and ecological one where the masses control their own destiny and are not ruled over by the rich and powerful

Hi BC Conservative Candidate Margareta, here are screenshots of your financial agent saying that he is in favour of slavery, that eugenics is desirable, and homosexuality is a disease.
Another week, another violent attack in downtown Vancouver. Last night, a man was attacked with a hammer at 2:00AM during a suspected robbery. After 9 years of NDP disorder, headlines like this are the norm. They shouldn’t be. Thank you @VancouverPD for the quick arrests. The @Conservative_BC plan, Safe Streets for BC, will hire 250 more police officers for crime hotspots, add 50 Crown prosecutors, expand court capacity, and publicly track repeat offending & bail compliance – so our justice system is accountable for results.

I was absolutely floored by the scale of volunteers, the dedication of those volunteers, and our ability to be out across the entire city and hit 10,000 doors in one day while running 30 tables in every neighborhood. Truly amazing people.
Huge shout out to all the volunteers on the COPE and Green campaigns. A result like that doesn’t happen without dedicated volunteers hitting the pavement every single day. Bravo y’all, incredible stuff.

But the real fight is just beginning. It takes more than sitting elected officials to fight back. That means continuing to engage the public between elections, and I am hopeful, based on what I'm hearing, that our volunteers are in for the long haul.

People keep picking apart the COPE & Greens platform for Vancouver, and everything they flag just sounds like good, overdue policy. A lot of it the city could do with powers it already has.

Amazing how all of the ABC-connected influencers know that COPE is winning and say stuff like this
There’s a faction of Vancouver’s left that seems more interested in demonizing success than creating more of it (unless it’s their homies). Everything becomes a class war. That’s Pete fry. That’s COPE. But they need to remember that the public services and govt jobs they champion depend on a healthy tax base, supported by businesses, investment and economic growth. That includes the arts too. And what gets missed is that public safety is economic policy too. Small businesses can’t thrive when employees feel unsafe coming to work, customers avoid certain neighbourhoods and owners are left dealing with street disorder. Why does Pete Fry not take the danger to public safety seriously? Why won’t he listen to the small business owners. Many who are women and also have women customer bases? That’s why the public safety plebiscite deserves a serious conversation about open-air hard drug use, treatment, recovery and the future of our neighbourhoods. And the news orgs need to be better cuz right now they fail to adequately cover this topic and are complicit in not holding folks accountable . You can believe in compassion, fairness and a strong social safety net while also supporting entrepreneurs, economic growth and safe streets.
