🇺🇸 First Lieutenant Brian “Tosh” Chontosh — A Marine Who Refused to Stop on March 25, 2003, during the opening weeks of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
First Lieutenant Brian R. Chontosh and his Marines were moving north on Highway 1 toward Ad Diwaniyah when they were caught in a coordinated ambush involving mortars, rocket-propelled grenades and automatic weapons.
With coalition tanks blocking the road ahead, Chontosh realized his platoon was trapped in a killing zone. Instead of pulling back, he ordered his driver to move directly toward the enemy position.
Under intense fire, Chontosh directed his vehicle into the enemy trench. He then dismounted and entered the trench, fighting with his M16A2 rifle and 9mm pistol. He picked up discarded enemy rifles—twice—and continued fighting.
When another Marine found an enemy RPG launcher, Chontosh used it against another group of enemy fighters. When the fight was over, he had cleared more than 200 meters of enemy trench, killing more than 20 enemy soldiers and wounding several others.
His actions helped break the ambush and allowed his platoon to continue the mission. For that extraordinary display of decisive leadership, courage under fire, and devotion to his Marines, Brian Chontosh was awarded;
Navy Cross—the second-highest U.S. military decoration for valor in combat, second only to the Medal of Honor. And his story didn't end there.
As a captain, Chontosh led Marines during Operation Phantom Fury, the Second Battle of Fallujah, where he earned;
Two Bronze Stars with Valor devices. He ultimately retired from the Marine Corps as a Major after approximately 20 years of service.
After leaving the Corps, he founded the Big Fish Foundation, dedicated to helping veterans reconnect with purpose, service and one another after combat.

AT JUST 26, MICHAEL ALFONSO IS HEADED TO CONGRESS 🇺🇸
Republican Michael Alfonso won Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District, claiming the same seat his father-in-law, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, once held.
Alfonso defeated Democrat Fred Clark and is set to become the youngest member of the new Congress.
His mother-in-law, Rachel Campos-Duffy, celebrated:
“Go Gen Z! Time to lead the way!! Michael you are a true sign of hope on a tough election night.”
Alfonso is married to the Duffys’ eldest daughter, Evita. A University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate, he worked in construction and produced Dan Bongino’s podcast before running for office.
President Trump endorsed him as a “MAGA Warrior.”
Now he’s headed to Washington.

Charles Cooper of the Washington, D.C. law firm Cooper & Kirk stood up in federal court for Florida and told the judge the plain truth: Florida views CAIR as “Hamas’ largest charitable front.”
Hamas is a U.S.-designated foreign terrorist organization. Cooper said it with no euphemisms and no “civil rights” deflection. That is the position no other lawyer in this fight has put on the record so clearly.
Now look at the result.
CAIR-Florida has suspended operations. A neon orange sign on the window of their longtime Temple Terrace office (the one they’ve had for more than 20 years near Tampa) reads:
“We have suspended our operations in Florida because of Governor DeSantis and other state officials’ baseless and unconstitutional enforcement of the state’s unprecedented new ‘domestic terrorist organization’ laws against us.”
The shutdown follows Florida’s designation of CAIR under the new 2026 law. Donations are harder, student affiliation is riskier, and continued operations in the state have become untenable. CAIR’s own website has told Florida residents not to engage with them.
This is the latest development in the nearly year-long battle between CAIR and Governor DeSantis. CAIR has sued and sought injunctions. Florida has continued forward.
HERO Charles Cooper has been the one in court making the state’s case without flinching.
Governor Ron DeSantis drove this from the start. He signed the 2026 law, approved the designation, and refused to back down. Attorney General James Uthmeier has stood with him and supported the enforcement that forced CAIR-Florida to act.
Florida drew a line. CAIR-Florida has now suspended operations. The infrastructure that has operated openly for decades in the state has been forced to stop.

It is the longtime base of Magda Elkadi Saleh, daughter of Ahmed Elkadi, a senior U.S. Muslim Brotherhood figure whose own father worked closely with Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna. She has built and led a network of Tampa Islamic schools, including the rebranded continuation of the Islamic Academy of Florida tied to Sami Al-Arian, Bayaan Academy, and Hifz Academy. Those schools have collectively pulled in roughly $18 million in Florida taxpayer-funded vouchers. She also serves as president of the Muslim-led resettlement agency Radiant Hands and was publicly honored at Temple Terrace City Hall with a Ramadan proclamation before requesting a formal “partnership” with the city.)

I’ve been saying this for years: CAIR is not a civil-rights group. It is a Hamas-linked, Muslim Brotherhood political machine. Unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terror-financing trial. Foreign money. Lawfare. Mosque networks turned into political infrastructure. Super PACs. School infiltration. Parallel societies. The same playbook Nihad Awad and the founders laid out.
Florida designated them. Texas designated them. The law makes donations harder and student ties dangerous. And now the Florida chapter is suspending operations.
This is progress. YOU did this by amplifying the evidence and refusing to stay silent.
But do NOT treat this as the finish line. A state designation is not a national ban. Networks do not vanish overnight. Brotherhood-linked operators are still fundraising, litigating, recruiting, and expanding elsewhere. Other red states are still quiet.
