Halfway across the world, Super Typhoon In-fa is taking on a rare "annular" look as it churns up waves reaching 60 FEET across the Western Pacific... Annular cyclones feature a massive, symmetric eye surrounded by a thick, even ring of storms, with almost no outer spiral bands. Because of this structure, storms like this tend to hold their strength much longer than usual. While the core of In-fa will pass well north of Saipan and Guam, the system is throwing massive swells southward, bringing dangerous surf to the islands. @WxFront
