Larsen & Toubro, or L&T for short, has secured a contract worth over $ 1, 6 billion to build the passenger terminal and supporting infrastructure for the New Tashkent International Airport in Uzbekistan 🇺🇿. The project is part of Uzbekistan's plan to develop a major international aviation hub connecting Asia, Europe and other regions. L&T will handle road infrastructure, structural construction, architectural finishes, utilities and the installation of advanced airport systems. Initial engineering has already begun. It’s wonderful to see a well reputed Indian company being globally competitive like this!
