Children in an Antwerp classroom, dressed in keffiyehs, holding watermelon symbols, taught Israel's history from a fake map, with a speaker from "Antwerp for Palestine" brought in to make sure the message lands. The images with smiling emojis and piles of Gas cards have prompted questions about whether fuel vouchers were distributed to voters in exchange for political support. The allegations come as police investigate a suspected vote buying operation involving Ra’am, with reports that some voters were offered cash and ₪100 fuel vouchers. The origin of the cards and whether they were connected to election bribery have not been independently verified.

In Pinellas County, Florida, during public comment on expanding the Masjid Al Rahman mosque near Tarpon Springs (after a 4-3 vote approving a land-use change that documents called a “community assembly facility”), a woman in full black niqab/burqa stepped to the mic and played the Islamic call to prayer instead of speaking. County Commissioners seemed stunned and stayed quiet as the recording ran for nearly a minute. They finally intervened only because rules require verbal comments, not playing recordings. The chair told her to stop the tape; when she didn’t, a deputy escorted her out. No charges, of course.
